Formerly the main branch of the Jacksonville Public Library system, The Jessie is now a LEED-certified rental office building providing premier office and community collaboration space for nonprofits at below-market rates. Housing 19 Jacksonville-based nonprofit organizations, The Jessie offers regular programming for its tenants and the wider community, aiming to support a stronger, more vibrant Jacksonville.

Owned by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, The Jessie is committed to empowering community leaders, facilitating partnerships among nonprofits, and providing a public asset for inclusive cultural enrichment. Housed within the historic Haydon Burns Public Library, The Jessie exemplifies the revitalization of historic structures using green building techniques and cutting-edge technology, fostering an environment of belonging, collaboration, and continuous improvement for a better community.
